Ralph Vacchiano pointed out a few things about this schedule, including this interesting point: Last year, the Giants also opened with the Redskins, and closed with 3 NFC east games followed by a home game against Carolina and an away game against Minnesota. Why would they do that again? No idea. But it’s definitely interesting.
Also: The Jets are playing the last game in Giants Stadium. That makes me angry.
A week 10 bye is a nice break in the middle as opposed to last year’s week 4 bye.
Other things of note: The Giants will christen the new Dallas stadium, which could turn out to be a real kick in the mouth for the Cowboys if everything goes as planned ![]()
Also, the Giants will play Denver on Thanksgiving.
Let us know what you think of the schedule.

I predict another 12-4 season. G-men win NFC East again and hopefully do better in the playoffs… IF the Giants can get homefield again through the playoffs then they would have the last game in the old stadium right? I just hope they CRUSH Dallas in their stadium opener.

I’ll go with 12-4 as well. Something tells me that they’re not going to win at the new Cowboys’ stadium, although I would absolutely love it and the task will be easier without TO there. I can also see them losing at New Orleans and in another meaningless game at Minny to end the season. The home schedule sets up nicely it seems to go 8-0, but I’ll say they drop one either to the Chargers or Eagles again. They’re still the best team in the NFC East by far and should be able to lock up a #1 or 2 seed again with relative ease…
