Cardinals to listen to offers for Boldin

If Jerry Reese isn’t instantly on the phone to Cardinals GM Rod Graves already, I would be disappointed. I’m sure he is though.

Ken Whisenhunt said this: “Before the draft, you know there is going to be talk about Anquan and his situation and a trade. Since not a whole lot has changed with his contractual situation, we know that will come back. It would be foolish from our standpoint not to listen to those opportunities and see what actually exists. But I want to make the points — our goal is to re-sign him to a long-term deal. That hasn’t changed.”

Hopefully the Giants can capitalize. I’d much rather have Boldin than Braylon Edwards, especially if the Browns are asking for Steve Smith or Dominick Hixon.

One Response to “Cardinals to listen to offers for Boldin”

  1. Joe Says:

I’d love to see this guy in a Giants uniform. He fits with the “punch you in the mouth” attitude. I hope the Giants are trying to put together an offer. He seems pissed enough to play real hard this season to show up the ‘Cards organization too.
