Percy Harvin tests positive for marijuana

This is being reported by rotoworld. Looks like this kills his chances of being picked early, maybe he could fall to the Giants? Even if he does, does Jerry Reese take the chance with this new news? What do you guys think? Would you pick a guy who has fallen to you because of a positive drug test, especially in the recent wake of the Plax character issues?

At this point, I say no. We have some young, talented WR’s if they show up this year. I say trade some picks away for Boldin or Braylon Edwards. Use later round picks for a LB that is workable or an O-lineman to build into a back-up. This O-line can’t last forever… I think it would have to be a pretty special WR if we take one early. As much fun as Harvin might be to hang out with for a weekend, he’s probably not what the G-men need right now. Jerry Reese is having a press conference today, maybe he’ll surprise us and just tell everything that he has planned.
