I read somewhere that the Giants were around 15 million under the cap...these three deals pretty much chew up all that space until they have the pre-training camp cuts. I'm wondering what they have planned for filling the roster holes at Safety...I'm sure there's a lot more to come rather soon.

I guess I was totally in the dark about the deterioration of Robbins. I never thought of him as a liability until seeing some of the commentary following the signing of Canty.

It does seem odd that the area they are targeting with the most intensity seems to be the front, when the biggest problems on D seemed to be at LB and in the secondary. With Osi coming back, I guess the intent is to move Kiwanuka back into the LB corps?

I also have been lacking in the following of the cap. Where does this leave us?

I would not be surprised if they either prepare a massive draft pick package for Boldin or they sign Housh (worry about getting back under the cap later in the year) and draft a potential #1 or hope that Burress only misses 4 games next year. Housh is a very good #2, but not the dominant #1 we need. I would not be surprised if he eventually ends up in NY, but I am reading that he's likely heading either back to Cincy or to Minnesota. Keep an eye on this development...
