NFLPA files Burress grievance

The NFL Players Association has filed a grievance concerning the Giants’ penalties to Plaxico Burress for his incident.
In the ESPN.com story about the incident, can you find the mistake in this article? Just embarassing, ESPN.com…

Well, I bet those Eagles fans feel really silly now, claiming that they beat the Giants and made it to the NFC Championship Game when ESPN clearly states that the Giants made it to that game …

Ha ha…I think they fixed it on their website later in the day though.
What would have been more embarrasing though: losing to the Eagles in the divisional round or losing to the Cards in the NFC championship game?

Arizona, definitely.
Somebody needs to check this out … in the past 7 years, the Eagles have sent 3 different teams to their first ever Super Bowl (Bucs, Panthers, Cardinals). I wonder how many other teams in the past XLIII years have sent at least two teams to their first Super Bowl.

Also, if my count is correct, the Eagles are one of nine teams that have been around for all 43 Super Bowls but never won one. Feel free to check my count.

I think you’re right Kevin…the fact that the Cards beat them just shows you that the Giants let one slip away. If the Giants go 2-14 next year, I guarantee you that those 2 wins are against Philly.
