Kevin Brown would like to begin by saying he is not related to the former Ranger, Oriole, Marlin, Padre, Dodger, and Yankee starting pitcher -- and damn proud of it. It is rumored that the first words out of Kevin's mouth were "Big Blue." This rumor has no basis to it and may have been just made up, but it sounds really cool anyway. Kevin first became involved in sports in his early years while watching the Giants defeat the hapless Philadelphia Eagles. The first professional sports event he attended was a Giants/Redskins home opener. And the first professional athlete to acknowledge him was none other than former Giants kick returner Delvin Joyce. (Of course, by acknowledgement he means a nasty glare after Kevin yelling at him for fumbling a punt in pregame warm-ups.) Kevin has been a lifelong Giants fan, longer than any other sports team, and goes to several games thanks to season tickets owned by his family.
He currently attends Syracuse University while majoring in broadcast journalism and counts Bob Papa among his announcing influences. (Tiki Barber -- not so much) His all-time favorite Giant was Tiki before he became a loudmouth. Other candidates for the nod include, in no order, Michael "The Toothless Wonder" Strahan, ?Well Dressed? Amani Toomer, Shaun Williams, Keith "Sugar Bear" Hamilton, Jessie Armstead, Jeremy Shockey, Kent Graham (end of 1998 version), and Ron Dixon and Willie Ponder (kick return version). It is easy to say his favorite Giants moment is the 41-0 thrashing of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2001 NFC Championship, but he also holds a special place in his heart for the 20-16 win over the undefeated Denver Broncos in 1998, the 36-0 shutout of the Redskins after the passing of Wellington Mara, and the 2006 Week 2 4th-quarter comeback against the Eagles, to name a few.
Kevin believes this is sufficient enough information for him and believes you should tune in to NYGiantsCast to hear his brutally honest opinions of the G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-MEN!
Kyle was born and raised in a Giants-only household in Brookfield, CT. He has had lifetime access to Giants season tickets, and consequently attends games regularly every season. For every game Kyle is unable to attend, he faithfully catches the action wherever he is. He is currently a sports broadcasting student in the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, and therefore has recently added orange to his household colors of blue and red.
His favorite Giants memory is witnessing Amani Toomer catch a game-winning touchdown directly in front of him against the Denver Broncos in 2005. He once pushed Eli Manning out of the way of a moving train, for which the Football Gods granted him unlimited wisdom of the New York Giants, distributed evenly every week, and he was charged to spread it to all that would listen. Kyle's hobbies include video games, hanging out with friends, being cold in Syracuse, and taking his hatred for the Cowboys and Patriots for a stroll every Sunday afternoon. Kyle also enjoys long walks on the beach and candlelit baths.
